BSOD Troubleshooting

Getting blue screens? Work through these steps in order before opening a support ticket.

Initial Fixes — Try These First

Work through all four of these, restart after making changes, then try spoofing again.

1Update your GPU / graphics card drivers to the latest version from NVIDIA.com or AMD.com — do not use Windows Update drivers.
2Disable TPM / fTPM in your BIOS / UEFI settings.
3Disable Fast Startup / Fast Boot in your BIOS.
4Completely uninstall all VPN client software — VPN kernel drivers block the spoofer silently.
Drivers already up to date and still BSODing?

The latest NVIDIA driver release may itself be causing the conflict. Skip to the NVIDIA Driver Rollback step below.

NVIDIA Driver Rollback — If Latest Drivers Still Cause BSODs

NVIDIA occasionally releases driver updates that conflict with kernel-level software like the spoofer. If you've already updated to the latest version and still get BSODs, roll back to a previous driver.

Method 1Device Manager Quick RollbackEasiest

Only works if you did not fully uninstall the previous driver before updating. If the button is greyed out, use Method 2.

1Right-click Start → Device Manager
2Expand Display Adapters → right-click your NVIDIA GPU → Properties
3Click the Driver tab → click Roll Back Driver
4Select a reason when prompted, confirm, and restart your PC
Method 2DDU + Manual Older Driver Install

Use this if the Roll Back Driver button was greyed out. Boot into Safe Mode first (see step above).

1Run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode to fully clean-remove your current NVIDIA driver
2Go to nvidia.com/en-gb/drivers → Manual Driver Search → select your GPU and Windows version
3Pick a Game Ready Driver from 2–3 months ago — these are more stable and widely tested than the newest release
4Install using Custom install, restart normally, then try the spoofer again
Which version?Drivers released 2–3 months before the current are safest. Avoid anything marked "Beta".

Run System Repair Commands

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run these two commands in order. Wait for each to finish before running the next.

If BSODs persist after running these

A clean Windows reinstall via USB (with partition deletion) is needed. System repair cannot fix all driver-level conflicts.

Find the Dump File

Open File Explorer (Win + E) and navigate to the path below — click to copy:

Look for .dmp files inside. If the folder is not visible, enable Hidden items via View → Show in File Explorer.

Minidump folder is empty?

Open sysdm.cpl → Advanced → Startup and Recovery → set dump type to Small memory dump (256 KB), then trigger the crash again.

Verify Dump Settings

Press Win + R, type sysdm.cpl, press Enter → Advanced → Startup and Recovery → Settings.

  • Dump type: Complete memory dump or Kernel memory dump
  • Dump path: %SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP
  • Click OK and restart your PC
